We are looking for an experienced Service Manager in Duhok to be responsible for being in charge of the service centre direct operations and building and maintaining trust relationships with our customers for the aftersales operations. The service manager will be reporting to the After Sales Manager.


Overall Job Purpose

Leads and manages the Dealership’s service activity to provide a profitable and effective service through satisfying and retaining customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads, develops, and motivates the Service team
  1. Leads the team by personally demonstrating and encouraging the Service team to demonstrate the Customer Behaviours in their daily activities and in all interactions with customers
  2. Ensures the Service team works closely with Sales, Parts and Administration colleagues to deliver outstanding customer service
  3. Develops the technical skills and workmanship of the team to continually improve the quality of customer service and satisfaction
  4. Motivates the team to achieve sales and profitability targets 
  5. Supports the team in the resolution of complex issues
  6. Implements performance management and develops the team to improve performance
  7. Selects and appoints new team members including apprentices and ensures they are equipped with the required skills and training
  • Drives performance to achieve key targets and deliver continuous improvement
  1. Manages day to day operations of the Service department
  2. Formulates and implements action plans to increase service sales
  3. Maximizes service opportunities to meet sales and profit targets
  4. Manages system to record all lost sales reviews regularly and takes appropriate action
  5. Ensures maintenance of tools, equipment, and operating areas, ensuring compliance with legislation
  6. Administers the warranty policy in the best interests of the customer, dealership and manufacturer
  • Works as a full member of the Dealership team
  1. Assists the After-sales to formulate service strategy and policy

Key Success Criteria

  1. Customer satisfaction targets  
  2. Process delivery and compliance (e.g., workshop loading and utilization)  
  3. Employee training and development targets

Service Manager Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Technical Support,
  2. Management and Administrative section and or related field experience.
  3. Experience of at least 3 years, preferable to be in the automotive sector.
  4. Fluency in Arabic and English Language
  5. Excellent skills in dealing with others and communicating.
  6. Proficient in all Microsoft programs.
  7. Superior knowledge of products, Warranty, and the way customers are treated.
  8. Team communication skills with leadership skills.
  9. Maintain a positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction.
