HAVAL’s bestselling models such as All New HAVAL H6, HAVAL H4, HAVAL F5, and HAVAL F7 are equipped with the 1.5GDIT+7DCT "Double Top Ten" golden power combination independently developed by Great Wall Motors, with stronger power and lower fuel consumption.
The 1.5GDIT engine independently developed by Great Wall Motors won the title of China Best Ten Engine 2017. The 1.5GDIT engine owns 92 patents and has complete intellectual property rights. CVVL independently developed by Great Wall Motor is adopted. Currently, only a few foreign brands such as BMW have similar engine technology. CVVL not only reduces fuel consumption by 8.4%, but also improves maximum power by 12.7% and peak torque by 35.7%.
The 7DCT independently developed by Great Wall Motors is awarded as the World Best Ten Transmission. It is the first dual-clutch transmission independently developed by Chinese brands in a true sense, with an integrated transmission rate of up to 95% and ultra-high system reliability. The 7DCT adopts a system-level energy consumption reduction scheme, including the use of low friction bearing and oil seal, low leakage solenoid valve, low inertia dual-clutch module, ultra-low viscosity lubricating oil, dual pump system, low oil volume design, achieving extremely high transmission efficiency.
Adhering to the vehicle manufacturing concept of “safety first”, HAVAL aims to produce the safest SUV. HAVAL has established the design concept of "passenger and driver safety, pedestrian safety and vehicle safety three-dimensional protection" (3DP) and took the lead in establishing the vehicle safety technology R&D system and the safety performance positive development process in the industry. So far, Great Wall Motors has been granted with 114 patents and established 75 enterprise standards in safety.
